ParkLAN — Clearwater, Florida, 2001

“The LAN is held at Dolphin Data [Clearwater, FL] and starts at 12:00 PM, ending at 12:00 AM midnight. The admission fee is $10 dollars, which includes all night gaming, and pizza (with some snacks). This LAN also has a T1 Class connection to the internet. So if you want to take a rest, read some news, download some drivers, it’s all available. Also to note this LAN has no age restriction, I trust that the parents that have teenagers underage are well aware as to where their child is going while carrying a huge monitor out the door. Also to mention, games played at the LAN include Quake 3, Counter-Strike, Tribes 2, Unreal Tournament, Age of Empires 2, Action Half-Life (and other Half-Life MODS), and even Black and White.”
