"I already mentioned some of my comments on the main page. Here are my final comments. In my opinion, this was not only the best Quakecon ever, but the best LAN party ever. As smoothly as everything ran, you'd think everybody running it were robots that planned for years in advance. Some people this took away from the soul of past Quakecons but I'll take this over soul anyday. I think the soul of Quakecon is getting together with friends you may see all the time and ones that you don't get to see often or just met for the first time and having fun."
"hi :) i was able to take a vacation during august of 2001. it just so happened that quakecon was going on during august 9 - 12 and that gave me the perfect opportunity to meet some people i've only known online and others i get to see yearly, if that often. the event itself is pretty much a big party and not really my thing, so i stayed with my friends riana and rich and hung out with them. we also stole my friend yoss away from quakecon for a day to hang out with us. here is my collection of pictures that i took. i hope to put some more up once riana and yoss send me the pictures they took."
"I journeyed down to Texas this year to hang out, drink beer, party, and generally have a good time. As I expected, it was the highlight of my summer. I brought my digital camera with me, and let me just say, the camera rocks. Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD8x series. This is the most pictures I've taken with it since the women's world cup, and it didn't crash or fuck up or fail me once. Anyway, as for the event itself, all I can say is that I will be there next year, even if it means I miss a test."
"hi there, yossman here. i'm still putting this page together, but i've opened up what i do have again. quakecon99 was one of the best events i've ever had the pleasure of both attending and helping out with. it was also a pleasure to take as many photos as i did, the more the merrier. ;) if you see yourself in any of the pictures available here, but don't see your name mentioned in the title of the image, please let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org."
