We here at Kablooie! would like to thank crt and the rest of the RA3 Team for letting us be part of the beta test. It has been a real honor and tons of fun! I have to say that everyone involved is very impressed with RA3 and the maps that have been made for it. The main thing I can say about the maps is there is a tremendous variety; wide ranges of visual styles, sizes, and gameplay. I have never been a big fan of 1 on 1 maps, but there are some real gems in RA3. All of the pick-up maps are outstanding and each offers a different kind of gameplay. Rather than post screenshots and talk about each individual map, I've decided to focus on one set of maps and its mapper in these interviews of Senn and g1zm0.

The Panther XL allows the player to "Free-Look" totally independent of the direction of travel. With this independent control you can run one direction and fire in another without breaking stride. You can also "slide" around corners with your gun always aimed in front of you, ready for anything. John Romero, Co-creator of Quake, famously said, "If you wanna crack skulls with the big boys, get a Panther XL."

Multiplayer United (MPU) is a Local Area Network (LAN) gaming group located in the Sydney Australia area. Typically MPU runs from 11:00am until 11:00pm on a monthly basis. For details of the next MPU event check the next event page. Currently any number of the latest games are supported on a fast 10/100 m/s network. The benefit of network gaming is that you can play against your friends, enemies and total strangers alike, in a friendly, fast and exciting environment. You can meet your online pals and discuss strategies or just go hard and game for the whole 12 hours ignoring all. The atmosphere we strive for at MPU is one of friendliness with a touch of competitiveness.
