Quake 2 Skins, by StrangeFate — Mario Vazquez, Digital Artist

"Why me? What's the sense of life? Why can i draw? Why they don't just kill Fox Mulder? How can people be so stupid and bad? Is there an IP scrambler or else? How does a real UFO look like? 6474879*54375,64? Mom? What's really down there on the oceans? why do i even bother about something if i'm going to die anyway? are most people really that boring or is it me? Why does Quake2 look at 800x600 the same as in 640x480? why do people harrass others instead of ignoring them? Why didn't we receive UO here? What sort of people do read pages like this? are dolphins really that intelligent?"

Telefragged.com — The Secret of Farcron, by Twisted Matrix

"Besides all this internal stuff, we have been giving SOF a serious overhaul. Almost all the monsters and weapons have been redone, we've storyboarded the .cins, sfx work and modeling is underway (and kicking ass I might add), and it looks as if I may finally get to start on textures one of these days. Overall, things are looking better than ever. It's true that q2 set us back a lot more than we expected; but what didn't kill us made us stronger, and SOF looks to be better than we had ever imagined. Thanks for sticking with us--we hope to impress you with our efforts."

PC Zone Feature — Gaming at Work: A Frag Too Far? Adam Phillips investigates

"As long as Bill Gates continues to churn out bloatware requiring increasingly obscene amounts of processor power to run it, corporations are going to need the latest high-spec machines — offering office employees an enviable opportunity to multiplay with the latest games in company time. In other words, why use that kick-ass P400 Super-Mega PC for spreadsheeting and word processing, when you can use it to beat seven shades of productivity out of your workmates across the company network with a game of Quake II?"
