Cool Tool, his wife, and I were playing S.S. Fragger (the map that used to be named Outer) on Wildcat's server. Holy crap! I swear, it has to be the funnest map I have ever played on! He has all kinds of stuff going on. I thought the funnest part of the whole ordeal was chasing Mr. Tool down with an 8x railgun trying to get my flag back =) Also, there is the possibility of a very popular server running it! I can't wait to see it played somewhere! He got this one done fast too! So our next update will most likely have two maps, Beam Me Up Scotty! and S.S. Fragger. That's the MadMappers at work for ya =)
Esta era una idea que tenía en mente desde los días del Doom II... Kubrick nos enseñó cómo los tipos malos podían amar a Ludwig Van... Aaah, la alegría del deathmatch... :)
Enric Alvarez was organizational psychologist in the real life when he made these maps for Quake 2 in 1998. He was also the webmaster of the LPQ2, the Professional Q2 league in Spain. Diseñador de niveles para Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, Quake2, Unreal y lo que venga.

Imagine being a Marine, packing ammo so tight that your eyes are turning blue, and carrying enough explosives to take out a small town. Your walking down a dark, gloomy hall way, having to watch your back while walking, and all of a sudden you smell a strong, snotty smell. You look up and theres a Broodling staring you down, drooling all over your new leather boots. You try to raise your gun up but you can't in time. Everyone pisses in their pants as you scream out in agony as your lower intestines spill out onto the floor. You have just experienced Paranoid... and thought you got over your fear of the boogy monster.
Immortal Rulers of Quake [IROQ Clan] are not just an average Quake 2 clan. We are a group of close friends who have formed a very tight knit family, and Robin and I are very proud to say that we are part of such an excellent organization. IROQ originally began as a deathmatch only clan, but has since branched out into many other Quake 2 mods, including OSP Tourney Rail, Weapons Of Destruction, and recently into the Quake 3 world. The clan contains some very talented players, especially in the rail, WOD, and Quake 3 field, map and skin makers, as well as many members with a strong sense of computer knowledge.
This level isn't an architectural wonder. It's not meant to have you "ooh-ing and ahh-ing". It's about having fun. Took a chunk of my weekend to make it. If you don't have a lot of fun playing in it... I'll have to send Eugene over. ;) Walter Costinak aka |2|
