The questions and answers have been culled from my inbox and I've left out any names to protect the innocent. But if I do in some way offend someone it was completely intentional. Forgive any redundancy whether it's in this post itself or in a previous post by our illustrious info wranglers such as Redwood or Blue. The Art of Quake 2, by Paul Steed

As in nearly all aspects of the company, the art department at id Software runs on pure synergy. That is, no real distinct lines of responsibility exist among the three artists because they work together so well as a team. The strength of the three-man art department at id comes from experience, hard work, and talent. Adrian Carmack, Kevin Cloud, and Paul Steed created the art for QUAKE 2 (and the upcoming mission pack), and this article reveals how it all came together.

Redwood’s Photos of QuakeCon ’96 and ’97

Well, #quakecon seemed to be a success. Several people were impressed with the turnout including the id boys. I will have #quakecon pics in a few days and I'll have room to post them since I now have more web page space. Like a little good web page maintainer I took a fair amount of notes. I attended Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday afternoon.
