I’m doing a little CTF recently. When I started quake1, I was dying in deathmatch, so I did CTF a lot. The CTF can contribute to the team even if it has low combat skills. In the meantime, I learned the CTF technique and enjoyed the real pleasure of team play. After that, I was awakened to the fun of Deathmatch, so recently it was Deathmatch only. The current quake2 CTF does not have many battles using CTF-specific techniques, so even people like me who do not know the map can earn some flags.
The first way to fight If you get a weapon that can hit the enemy such as Rokeran , stick to protection, and if you do not know where the Rokeran is, search for the position of the enemy’s flag and charge. In that case, if you don’t keep your armor as strong as possible, the flag will be killed immediately and it will be returned . Note that if you charge with a nice weapon, the weapon will be taken when you are killed by the enemy. If you are confident that you can cut the defenses of the enemy, you should charge with BFG and location.
