Telefragged: Avatar — McCandlish Base, Blast Packaramathon, and Target Quake, by Avatar

"I think we all know what time it is. Yes, its time to have an old school deathmatch Quake2 beat down. No more of that pansy 'let's run patterns on a goliath 4000 brush map and see who has da skillz', its time to bust loose in some way way down to earth arena style smack down bakeries. Yes, its time for the Blast-Packaramathon. 10 tightly packed, quickly learned, storage places of mass carnage. 10 frags a minute and no place to hide."

The Coven: Disposable Heroes, Deadlode 2, and more Quake II Total Conversion Mods

The Coven was an independent computer games developer with its roots in the Doom and Quake communities. Originally founded by John "Gestalt" Bye in late 1996, The Coven worked on a free Doom II add-on before moving on to Quake and going commercial in the summer of 1997. The Coven was closed in the winter of 1999, and all their work is now available for free.

don’t Underestimate anything: Quake Battle Chess

QBC allows you to move freely around the board when selecting your chess pieces, and MORPH into the one you selected. You have full control!!!! One thing that will make QBC rise above any other quake patch, is INTELLIGENCE. QBC can tell if you have made a correct move, castle, enpassant, capture, promotion to any piece. QBC can tell if you are castling through check, incheck, giving the opponent a Check attack, but the most amazing fact is still to come.... QBC can determine CHECK MATE and STALEMATE!!!!!!!!!!!
