Gamepoint.net’s Mapping Department (md.gamepoint.net on the internet archive) was made up of by Cooljoe, Necro, Aphax, RealKiller, C4, FlipMode, Lord Darkness and Tabun. They released 5 total CTF maps (although possible others mentioned) of which we currently have only 2.  We are missing q2ctf01.bsp, q2ctf03.bsp and q2ctf04.bsp.

Anybody with copies of these maps or information on where to find them please send me an email dondeq2 at gmail.

Q2CTF01 – =The Demilitarized Zone
This map is the first map in the q2ctf0x series. The map consists mainly of an upper part and a lower part, which are connected by several elevators and holes. The bases are large and open, and the flag is on the far side of the base, as you can see in the screenshots on the left.

Q2CTF02 – =Establish Colonisation
Text from the readme: “It’s an excellent CTF map for officials wars or matches. It should be played 5-5 because of the size of the map, its not really that big tough, but because of the fast gameplay you should play it 5-5 for the “REAL” action! We’ve put a bunker at each base for some defence. There’s one “Quad” in it for some real serious buttkicking! Goodluck and have fun with it.”

Q2CTF05(b) – =The Final Frontier 2
Text from the readme: This map is called ‘The Final Frontier’. The goal was to make a map that was fun to play for both offence and defence. Many maps seem to get unbalanced on this point. Another aspect is that the map is fairly easy to learn. No more running around in 20 small rooms which are all connected through some sort of maze. This map is number 5 from the Map Department series.
